Support for musicians and performers

StudioRCC

Use our low-cost digital sound recording facility in Redfern. We also offer exciting courses in music and sound production for free.

Rehearsal space for students and school groups

We have a bunch of rehearsal spaces across the City of Sydney local area that are free to use for students and school groups.

Busking

Creative space

Our properties suited to artists and creative workers are available from short to long terms, include combined live/work spaces with rent assistance available.

Support for venue owners and promoters

Funding for music projects, events and festivals

Cultural and creative grants include reduced or free rental for facilities and street banners, one-off quick response grants and special event sponsorships.

Funding for all-ages gigs

MusicNSW and the City of Sydney are thrilled to present a new grants program for all ages events in Sydney. The All Ages Access grants will provide funding to cover artist fees, production and promotion costs for events in inner Sydney to encourage more all age shows.

Request planning and regulation guidance

We provide proactive case management for live music and performance planning applications and guidance to industry facing other regulatory challenges.
