Creative City Sydney

Foley Street creative spaces program

Just metres from bustling Oxford Street, our Foley Street spaces are a curated collection of artists and designers. This is the newest location in our creative spaces program, aimed at providing affordable workspaces for creatives.

We upgraded 5 shopfronts on Foley Street, Darlinghurst to foster Sydney's creative life and support small-scale activity in the area. We invited artists, creatives and community organisations to submit expressions of interest to occupy the spaces over 3-year leases.

The spaces let tenants work while some have the chance to showcase their wares and interact with the public through a shopfront. Tenants can also set up community workshops, talks and events in their space.

The current tenants include The Tribe, Spunky Bruiser, Bermuda Black, Studio Enti and Fine Fellow.

How to apply

We are not currently accepting applications for the Foley Street creative spaces program.

We expect to call for applications for a new round of tenants in late 2020.
