Request for quotation

We are seeking an artist/s or artist-led teams to work with the community to create a large scale mural in the heart of Woolloomooloo. The successful artist/artist-led team will collaborate with the community through workshop activities to create a public artwork that has local significance, meaning and relevance.

Artists are to demonstrate strength of proposed artistic approach and methodology, previous experience of/or demonstrated potential to work with community and a capacity to achieve the required project program within the budget of $30,000.

Respondents are required to:

  • demonstrate their capacity, financial and technical capability for completing the project within the required timeframe
  • have had previous experience on similar-sized projects
  • demonstrate a commitment to WHS and environmentally sound principles.

How to apply 

Tender documents can be obtained by registering through the City of Sydney e-tendering portal. Contract enquiries may be addressed to the City’s tendering officer via the online forum on the e-tendering portal.

Submissions addressed 'RFQ No. 3217, Woolloomooloo Community Mural Project' must be lodged online through the City's e-tendering portal, or alternatively placed in the tender box on Level 1, Town Hall House, 456 Kent Street, Sydney, no later than 27 April 2017
