Online bookings

Terms and conditions

  1. Pre-booking is required for Pine Street Creative Arts Centre courses, events and classes. Bookings can be made via the City of Sydney booking portal
  2. Payment in full is required at the time of booking. Payment is accepted by Visa, MasterCard and AMEX.
  3. Tickets cannot be offered for unauthorised resale, including using tickets for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes. Tickets breaching this condition may be cancelled without notice or refund.
  4. Once enrolled, if a student misses a class for any reason they are not eligible for a refund, credit, or ‘make up’ class. We cannot accommodate an extra person who has not booked into a class as it is a health and safety risk.

Booking instructions

You will need to register and create a login to access and use the booking system.

Once you have completed your booking you will receive an email confirmation. You do not need to print  your tickets. You will be on a class roll for your first class in the course.

If you did not get a booking confirmation, your payment may not have been processed. If you completed your purchase and reached the order complete screen, but didn’t receive a booking confirmation/tax invoice:

  • Double check your junk and spam email folders.
  • Check that funds have been deducted from your bank account.
  • If you cannot find your tickets, log in to your account and check your email and delivery address is correct under account information.

Call us on 02 9245 1503 if you have trouble making a booking.

If you have forgotten your password, you can reset your password. If you have forgotten the email address for your username, contact our finance services team on 02 9246 7299.

Please contact the centre if you have been charged and still can’t find your booking confirmation. Call 02 9245 1503 or email pinestreet@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au.

Refunds and exchanges

Bookings can be cancelled up to 14 days before the course starts and will be refunded. Cancellations can be made via the booking portal

A voucher credit will be issued that can be used for another Pine Street course (valid for 12 months from the initial program start date) or a full refund to be provided. Voucher credit can be used for payment or part payment of an alternative course at the centre.

Cancellations made within 14 days of the course starting will not be refunded.

Concessions

The City of Sydney allows a concession rate for children under 16, full-time students, holders of Commonwealth health care pensioner concession or seniors health cards. People with a valid benefit card are eligible to apply for the concession rate.

Proof of benefit must be provided to the centre during the online booking process. You must scan and attach your card as an electronic file in the online booking form.

Alternatively, you can show your concession card in person for the tutor to sight at your first class at the centre. If you fail to provide proof of benefit you will be required to pay the full rate for each class until proof is provided.

Course cancellations

We make every effort to ensure courses run as scheduled. However, the centre reserves the right to alter the course before or during the course and to cancel any course if the requisite number of enrolments is not received. A full refund will be provided to enrolled students should this occur.

The centre also reserves the right to reschedule a course, substitute tutors and/or vary advertised prices, course times and inclusions without notice.

For parents

Please note:

Pine Street Creative Arts Centre is not licensed to cater to children who are under 5 years of age and not yet attending primary school. If a younger child accompanies you when dropping off or picking up a child attending our programs, they must be supervised at all times.

  • Parents cannot remain in the studio once workshops have commenced.
  • Students must wear closed shoes at all times. Open-toe shoes are not permitted.
  • Sick children cannot be allowed into workshops. If a staff member identifies a student is unwell, parents will be called to collect their child.
  • Rules for behaviour are explained at the start of each course. Children are not to disrupt the learning of other students, and continued enrolment is conditional on behaviour.
  • Duty of care laws state that members of staff must not be alone with a child. Extra staff cannot be provided for early arrivals or late pick-ups. It is essential that children are dropped off and collected within operating hours.

Please read the parent’s handbook for further information.
