Redfern Oval Community Room

Suitable for private functions, community meetings, recreation classes, rehearsals, seminars and training sessions. The stylish function room offers polished floors, tea and coffee making facilities (downstairs) and overlooks Redfern Park and Oval.

It is available for hire 7 days per week from 7am to 11pm.

Dimensions

The main hall is 110m².

  • cocktail party: 50 people

Special considerations

  • Noise needs to be kept to a minimum, residential area.
  • Amplified music is not permitted.
  • Additional cleaning can be arranged.

  • Gold licence caterers required for alcohol service, venue is unlicensed.

Lift to upper floor with an accessible toilet on the ground floor.

  • elections: $1,030 per election
  • security deposit (fully refundable): $300
  • key deposit (fully refundable): $35
  • community hire rate: 50% discount on standard hire rate.

Redfern Town Hall

Suitable for functions, community meetings, rehearsals and performances. The large hall features high ceilings, polished floors, a small stage, balcony and a commercial kitchen. The small hall is carpeted and has a small kitchen.

It is available for hire 7 days per week from 7am to midnight.

Dimensions

The main hall is 17 metres by 9.6 metres. The stage is 5.6 metres by 2.8 metres at a height of 80 centimetres.
The small hall is 14 metres by 6.5 metres.

Main hall:

  • dinner: 120 people
  • dinner dance: 100 people
  • cocktail party: 160 people
  • theatre: 150 people.

Small hall:

  • dinner: 70 people
  • meeting: 90 people.

The main hall has a commercial kitchen with:

The PA system has a hearing loop for people with hearing impairments. Wheelchair access is via ramps at the front of the building with a lift to the upper floors. The toilet is accessible.

Suitable for meetings, training programs and forums. The centre is situated on the ground floor and is carpeted.

It is available for hire Monday to Friday from 4pm to midnight and on weekends from 7am to midnight.

The room is 20 metres by 12 metres.

  • cocktail party: 100 people
  • theatre: 60 people.
