Local car parks

The City operates two car parks – Goulburn Street Car Park (near Central Station) and Kings Cross Car Park – and there are many more private ones around town (see map for locations).

Goulburn Street

  • vehicles under 1.98 meters high only.

Permanent parking

Permanent parkers have access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Casual parking

Note: Below are ENTRY times only; the EXIT operates 24 hours.

Monday to Thursday – 6am to 12am
Friday – 6am to 1am
Saturday – 7am to 1.30am
Sunday – 8.30am to 11pm
Public holidays – 9am to 11pm

Daytime rates

0–0.5 hour: $5
0.5–1 hour: $9
1–2 hours: $19
2–3 hours: $29
3–4 hours: $39
4+ hours: $49
Maximum: $49

Evening, weekend and special rates

Monday to Friday evenings (entry after 5pm, exit before 6am next day) – $10 flat rate
Saturdays, Sundays, Public holidays – $10 flat rate

Rooftop parking

Entry between 6am and 9:30am, exit between 3pm and 7pm.
Monday to Friday – $16

Lost ticket

$49 per day - all days

Motorcycles and scooters

$7 flat rate or $1 per hour.

Electric vehicle charge points

Any electric vehicle that enters the car park can use the electric charge points. There is no extra charge to access these. Four electric charge points are located on the ground floor near the boom gates and easily identifiable by distinct green signage painted on the floor.

Kings Cross Car Park

Monday to Sunday: 24 hours / 7 days access

Casual day rates

0–1 hour: $6
1–2 hours: $13
2–3 hours: $17
3–4 hours: $21
4–5 hours: $25
5–24 hours: $30

Friday and Saturday rates (entry after 6pm)

0–1 hour: $7
1–2 hours: $14
2–3 hours: $21
3–4 hours: $28
4–5 hours: $35
5–24 hours: $40

Motorcycle and scooters

$5 flat rate or $1 per hour.

Electric vehicle charge points

Any vehicle that enters the car park can use 1 of 3 electric vehicle charge points. There is no extra fee to charge your vehicle in the car park. The electric charge points are located on level 5, near the exit gates.
