Sports facilities
Open to the public
From AFL ovals to baseball diamonds, we have a spot dedicated to your favourite sport.
The facilities in the local area are listed alphabetically under their sport in the navigation bar to the left.
Many sports facilities are managed by the City of Sydney and some are operated by external organisations, such as Centennial Parklands or the Royal Botanic Gardens. Where possible, we have listed the website for each facility listed here.
Please note you may need to contact us in advance to book a sports field and reserve your spot for some venues. We have provided the contact details for the relevant facilities. Other places, such as the skateboarding ramps, don’t need to be reserved and are open to the public at all times.
Wet weather closures
If you would like to check the status of a City sports ground during wet weather, please refer to the table (right) or you can contact our information line on 02 9246 7708.
We hope you enjoy your game.
