Access all areas
The aquatic and fitness centre access card allows residents on low incomes to enjoy the City's swimming centres for a reduced entry fee. Benefits of the access card can also be extended to dependents aged 16 years and younger.
The card is valid for 1 year, after which you will need to re-apply. It excludes group fitness classes. You need to be 16 years or older to use the City's gyms.
Benefits
For those who love the water, the card allows entry for a swim for $2.00. For those looking for a workout, the card gives you access for $5.50 to fitness centres.
The card is valid at:
- Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool
- Cook + Phillip Park Aquatic & Fitness Centre.
- Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre
- Victoria Park Pool.
Eligibility
To be eligible you must:
- be a City resident
- have a valid Commonwealth health care card, pensioner concession card or senior health care card.
How to apply
You will need to complete an application form and hand it in to one of our friendly neighbourhood service centres. The application forms are available for download at the bottom of this page. Please bring 2 forms of identification showing your current address. Some conditions apply. Please contact us for more information.
