360 revolution

Improving the lift next to the aquatic centre

The City of Sydney is replacing the original lift next to the Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre. This will allow us to continue providing safe and reliable access to the centre from Harris and Pyrmont streets.

While we are installing the new lift, you can access the pool, gym and Harris and Pyrmont streets via the stairs. Accessible entry to the gym is via the public path next to Bullecourt Apartment complex. Accessible entry to the pool is via Quarry and Harris streets. There will be clear wayfinding signs in place.

Work begins in October. Construction hours will be 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and 7.30am to 3.30pm on Saturdays. While there will be some noise impacts, the contractors will keep noise to a minimum.
