Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre
Did you know?
The Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre was the last public building designed by the world renowned architect Harry Seidler (1923-2006). It was officially opened by his wife Penelope Seidler in 2007.
Go for gold
The Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre (ITAC) has a water- or land-based activity for everyone in the local area, no matter what their age, fitness level or ability. It has 3 pools, a gym with cardio and weights rooms and it is open all year round.
The pools
