Meeting and function rooms in Zetland

This stylish heritage building boasts polished timber floorboards, air-conditioning, exposed timber truss and suspending lighting. It overlooks Tote Park and previously housed the Green Square Library and Customer Service Centre on the ground level.

The library and customer service centre are currently being relocated to 355 Botany Road, Zetland, and will reopen in August 2018. 

The function room is suitable for private functions, community meetings, recreation classes, rehearsals, seminars and training sessions.

An upper level function room and meeting room is available for hire 7 days a week from 7am to 11pm.

Please note, we require 2 weeks notice to make a booking at a community venue that is not staffed.

Special considerations

Accessibility

  • Lift to all floors with an accessible toilet on the ground floor.

Transport and parking

  • Bus routes M20 and 301 stop at O`Dea Avenue near Bourke Street.
  • Bus route 343 stops at Elizabeth Street near Joynton Avenue.
  • Green Square train station is within walking distance.

Standard room hire fees

  • weekdays until 5pm: $44 an hour
  • weekdays after 5pm, all day on weekends and on public holidays: $48 an hour
  • day rate (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm only): $264 a day
  • weekend full day rate, including public holidays (8am to midnight): $480 a day
  • community hire rate: 50% discount on standard hire rate.

Small meeting room hire fees

  • weekdays until 5pm: $22 an hour 
  • weekdays after 5pm, all day on weekends and public holidays: $24 an hour

  • weekend full day rate, including public holidays (8am to midnight): $240 a day
  • community hire rate: 50% discount on standard hire rate.
