Connecting our villages

There are 2 main community transport providers operating in the local area – the City of Sydney and South East Sydney Community Transport. Both services provide accessible and affordable options for people who have difficulty using public transport.

Council recently endorsed a new policy to improve community transport that aims to increase the number of trips from 44,000 to approximately 83,000 per year. The increased trips will mean that many people will get access to more services including extra Village to Village buses. Work on a transition study is underway at the moment to work out how the extra services will be achieved. We will be seeking the community's input throughout the year.

City of Sydney community transport

Our services that are wholly operated by the City support many of our community service programs:

Our transport service connects Over 55s members, young people and children to and from our centres, events and activities.

Our services available to members of our Over 55s programs provide transport to and from the centres, events and activities.
