Rooms for hire
Meetings and gatherings
The City of Sydney has a selection of rooms available for hire to the public. To find out more about hiring these spaces, please direct your enquiries to the contacts listed below.
Insurance
All commercial parties hiring City facilities are required to provide proof of $10 million public liability insurance before booking can be confirmed.
Individuals and small community groups unable to provide insurance cover, may apply to be covered under the City's Community Engagement Liability Policy at the following rates:
- Level 1 (Venue booking fee less than $400 excluding GST) – $25 per booking
- Level 2 (Venue booking fee between $400 and $1,600 excluding GST) – $100 per booking
- Level 3 (Venue booking fee greater than $1,600) – $200 per booking.

Day rate (Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm): $240 per hour

Community hire rate: 50 per cent discount.
