Frog Hollow Reserve (22 images)

As part of the City of Sydney’s vision to green the city and preserve our heritage, the $1.3 million upgrade of Frog Hollow Reserve was celebrated with an Open Day on Saturday, 24 February 2007.

Lord Mayor Clover Moore MP was on hand to officially open the Reserve with the ceremonial unveiling of a cast bronze plaque. The upgraded Frog Hollow provides better access for residents, improved lighting, new native trees, plaques explaining the colourful history of the park as well as retaining walls, landscaping and a larger open turf area for general recreation.

Residents at the Open Day enjoyed a 1920s swing band, roving entertainment for adults and kids, a photo exhibition depicting the history of the area, a free photo of themselves in 1920s gangster theme as well as a free barbecue lunch.
