Sydney Park (18 images)

On Saturday, 10 March 2007, City of Sydney Councillors and staff met with residents of the Inner and South West to discuss the development of an All-Abilities Playground in Sydney Park.

Children and adults of all abilities were asked for their input into various elements of the playground which will include areas such as a discovery walk, a maze with sound elements and sand and clay pits.

Residents were also encouraged to bring their dogs, who all love the freedom of the City’s largest parkland.  Kite flying was a big hit, with participants able to make and fly their own kites.

Information was also provided on other elements of the park revitalisation such as upgrades to the Village Green and Wetland 1 and gully area.
