About Let's Get Ready Sydney
Let’s Get Ready Sydney is an information resource and education campaign prepared by the City of Sydney to help the community prepare for a possible emergency in the City of Sydney Local Government Area. The campaign has been developed in partnership with the Commonwealth Attorney Generals Department and Emergency NSW under the ‘Working Together to Manage Emergencies’ local grants scheme.
Emergency agencies and government departments are undertaking thorough planning to ensure that the Sydney City area is ready to respond should an emergency cause widespread disruption in the area.
The City of Sydney launched the Let’s Get Ready Sydney campaign in July 2007 to help individuals and businesses learn how to be better prepared and more confident in dealing with emergencies.
