“People are so busy with life, it’s important to take time to nurture what you love to help you grow.

Sydney is amazing, it broadens my horizons. Art is important for expression. Many people are hesitant to engage with art but we’re all born with creative seeds.

I’ve been involved with Pine Street Creative Arts Centre for three years. I love it for its nurturing environment. I work with clay, yarn, watercolour but mostly with paper. For my latest artwork I created life out of things that have died, such as flowers from my neighbour’s house.

I’m working at Biennale this year and looking forward to bringing art into people’s lives.  I’m just so excited about life, everyone’s got a story.

We only get a few moments on this earth. We need to surround ourselves with the beauty of nature to grow as people.”
