The City of Sydney Library established its Chinese language collection at Haymarket Library in 1974.

Since then, the collection has developed into the largest Chinese language collection in any Australian public library. Boasting 30,387 items, the collection focuses on popular books and resources. Chinese language resources are also available at Ultimo Library.

Become a library member and borrow up to 20 items for three weeks.
