Self-serve computers are available to the public at all branches. Members and non-members need to purchase a card before using these services. Conditions apply.

Computer & Photocopy card.

2 hours free - Members

Purchase a $1 card at the front desk. Show your City of Sydney Library card for free access (join online here). Maximum 2 hours per computer. To print add money to your card at the pay station.

$3 per 30 minutes - Public

Purchase a $1 computer card at the front desk. Add $3 per 30 minutes at the pay station. Maximum 2 hours per computer.

Add money to your card at the pay station available at each branch. Pay for computer time, printing and photocopying.

Software & Hardware

Computer (PC) Software : Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2007 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Microsoft Explore

USB: use your own USB or purchase one at the front desk.

Scanners: a self-serve scanner is available at each branch. Option to save to a USB or email scans. Use of the scanner is included in the computer time.

Free Web Browsing / No email

Patron browsing the web.

Look for the 'Research' computers located at each branch to browse the web for research (no email access). Access government websites, online newspapers, study resources, hobby websites and more...

Free public access, no card or registration required.
