A week before the Sydney Film Festival hits the big screens, Programmer Richard Kuipers will provide a sneak peek at some of the freakiest films chosen for 2012. Richard will show some snippets and talk about his process of selecting films for the festival, so bring along your questions, your curiosity and your courage! Alison Lester’s heartfelt book Are We There Yet? is based on the real story of her family’s journey around Australia in a campervan. In this workshop we will create postcards to tell the story of your home town or special place that you have visited in Australia. A National Year of Reading event. For ages 7 – 12.
