The Green Living Centre includes:

  • a reference library with more than 300 titles including books in gardening, eco-renovation, global issues, recycling and more
  • a recycling centre for corks where you can drop off yours to divert waste away from landfill
  • Newtown Bagshare that accepts reusable shopping bags
  • a bike library
  • free workshops where you can learn about organic gardening, worm farming and natural cleaning.

It also offers support and advice to local businesses to become more sustainable and is a great port of call if you feel like volunteering to one of many great and green causes.
