The RTA is pleased to announce details of the 2009 New Year’s Eve ticket competition!
You have the chance to win one of more than 1700 family passes (for five people) to watch the fireworks from one of the best viewing spots in Sydney - the Cahill Expressway above Circular Quay.
This is a family friendly event, with entertainment as well as a range of hot food and refreshments for sale. No alcohol or glass is permitted.
How can I win tickets?
Family passes will be given away free of charge for the 9pm and midnight fireworks sessions via an online public competition. The website will be open for registration from 12.01am on Saturday 14 November and close at 11.59pm on Saturday 28 November 2009.
Winners will be notified by mail no later than 21 December.

Strickland House is managed by the State Property Authority, a division of the Land and Property Management Authority. NPWS has been contracted to sell tickets for New Year’s Eve fireworks viewing on the lawns of Strickland House..

Waverley Council will be running its successful 'My Bondi Summer' community safety campaign again this year. The campaign will combine a series of managed events with strict enforcement of the alcohol free zones in and around Waverley’s three beaches main beaches: Bondi, Tamarama and Bronte.

The Shore Thing Licensed 18+ dance event is being held again at Bondi Beach Pavilion and Bondi Park from 9pm to 3am featuring international djs; Carl Cox, Danny Tenaglia and Roger Sanchez .
