Pine Street's Children's Program

Using the creative process, the children’s program at Pine Street Creative Arts Centre aims to focus children’s energies towards developing skills through a range of arts practices and experiences. Pine Street Creative Arts Centre understands the importance of nurturing a child in their art development and that through art a child can gain self confidence and a sense of achievement. The programs are designed for children aged 5 - 15 years. The Centre also plans specific events and exhibitions which provide opportunities for children to participate in and display their valuable and unique expressions to a wider community audience.
STUDIO SAFETY / CLOSED TOED SHOES ESSENTIAL - FOR ALL CLASSES (INCLUDING CHILDRENS): It is an OH&S requirement that all students attending all courses at Pine Street (including our Darlington Centre) must wear closed toed shoes at all times. Students arriving with open toed shoes will not be allowed entry to the studios. Students will also be inducted at the start of term on studio safety.

Holiday Program - Pick Up/Drop Off from Darlington!
Please note that for holiday programs, ALL children are to be dropped off and picked up from the Darlington Activity Centre (cnr Shepherd and Ivy Streets, Darlington). Please DO NOT bring them to Pine Street. The older children will be walked to Pine Street Studios in the morning, and walked back to Darlington in the afternoon. |
