Transport and Access Information

Accessibility

The office and gallery are on the first floor up a steep set of stairs. The ceramics, painting and drawing, stencil and digital classes are all in wheelchair accessible studios with wheelchair accessible toilets. Our other studios have limited accessibility. Where possible our studios have a flexible set up to help accommodate accessibility. Please contact us and discuss how we can ensure you able to attend the courses you are interested in.

By Bus

From CBD take any bus via Parramatta Road, alight at Kinko’s (on Broadway) and walk down Buckland Street. Cross the park at the end onto Pine Street. The centre is located on the left in a two-storey white building.

Along Cleveland St , Bus 352 - alight at the corner of Shepherd and Cleveland Streets.

For buses to the CBD along City Road via Newtown, alight at Victoria Park and walk two blocks down Cleveland Street to Pine Street. The 352 bus goes along Cleveland Street, stopping near Pine Street (note does not run on weekends).

By Train

15 minutes walk from either Central or Redfern Stations.

By Car

Parking is very limited - and usually for one or two hours only. There are some unlimited all day parking spots in Beaumont Street, off Cleveland Street. There is a parking station nearby at the Seymour Centre (Cnr City Rd and Cleveland Street – enter Shepard Street , Chippendale). Otherwise we recommend you travel by foot, bike or public transport! There is plenty of public transport to Pine Street Creative Arts Centre and the Darlington Centre.

Darlington Activity Centre

It is a two minute walk from Pine Street and is on the corner of Ivy and Shepherd Streets, Darlington (behind the Seymour Centre)
