Examples of events we have run in the past :
Carscape:
A 12 month project where abandoned cars were turned into works of art by different communities across the City of Sydney during local community festivals. The result was a community inspired art project exploring themes of community, collaboration, diversity and recylability - whereby art, community and creativity finally triumphs over the automobile, encouraging people to explore alternative, more environmentally friendly transport options. The works were exhibited in Hyde Park during Art & About in October 2005.
Chinese New Year 2005
CNY was celebrated by Pine Street Creative Arts Centre at Belmore Park opposite Central Station over the weekend of 5th and 6th February 2005. Workshops in Chinese calligraphy, kite making, dragon making, Chinese opera face painting and dragon parade were provided for families to celebrate the Year of the Rooster.
