BOOKINGS, PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY
Bookings: At the time of booking, credit card details
must be supplied. Payment will not be processed until we reach minimum numbers
on your course. If you do not have a credit card, you must come into the Pine
Street Office and pay in person (cash or eftpos) or send us a cheque within one
week of booking your place. Payment can be in full or a minimum of 25% deposit.
After one week, if no payment has been received, your booking will be cancelled
and offered to someone on the waiting list. Only fully paid up and booked
students are allowed into the studios.
Payment: Payment for courses must be made in full two weeks
before the course starts. If full fee is not paid at least two weeks before the
class starts then your booking will be cancelled and offered to someone on the
waiting list.
Student Cancellations: Cancellations made
up to two weeks before the course starts will incur a 25% administration fee.
Cancellations made within two weeks of the course starting will not be refunded.
Once classes have started, missed classes are the student’s responsibility and
students are not eligible for a refund or credit.
Centre
Cancellations: The Centre makes every effort to ensure advertised
courses run. However the Centre reserves the right to alter the program either
before or during the course and to cancel any program if insufficient enrolments
are received. If the Centre cancels a course, you will be offered an alternative
course or a refund if your payment has been processed.
No
Credits: Once a course has started, missed classes are the student's
responsibility and students are not eligible for credit or refund.
No "Make Up" Classes: It is the student's responsibility if
they miss a class. As most of our classes are full, we cannot accommodate an
extra person in a class that they have not booked into. Not only is an OHS risk
but it impacts negatively on the tutor and other students who are legitimately
booked into that class.
Concessions: City of Sydney
residents who have a current benefit card are eligible to apply for a
concession. Proof of benefit must be provided when booking. Concession rate is
also available on our children’s courses - parents who have a current benefit
card are eligible to pay the concession rate.
Payment
Methods: Cash, eftpos, cheque/money order (made out to City of Sydney),
Visa and Mastercard.
STUDENT FEEDBACK WELCOME!
Click here for our STUDENT FEEDBACK FORM: Feedback from our students is invaluable in programming future courses and making Pine Street an even better community facility. If you are a current student, you can complete and give the form back to your tutor. Or fax it to 9245 1500 or post to PO Box 1591, Sydney NSW 2001. Or email to pinestreet@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au
STUDIO SAFETY
It is an OH&S requirement that all students attending all courses at Pine Street (including our Darlington Centre) must wear closed toed shoes at all times. Students arriving with open toed shoes will not be allowed entry to the studios. Students will be inducted at the start of term on studio safety.
