Professor Anthony Capon

Professor Anthony Capon is Visiting Fellow with the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health at the Australian National University. He was formerly Director of Public Health with Sydney West Area Health Service.

Prof Capon discusses the need for Australian governments to develop healthy, sustainable cities by giving priority to water, energy and environmental building issues, and investing in mass transit infrastructure, paved paths and cycleways.

Prof Frumkin discusses the impact of the urban environment on public health, encompassing the latest evidence from research in North America and elsewhere.
