Brought from London to work at the City of Sydney, Allan Jones is charged with reducing Sydney’s reliance on coal-fired energy, introducing trigeneration, renewable energy and reusing water and waste. At this City Talk he launches the City’s innovative city-wide decentralised energy, water and waste system, and explains how Sydney will become a global environmental leader energised by local low and zero carbon and renewable energy sources.
