Public Access

The Sydney Town Hall is open during Council’s business hours, Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm. Due to the building’s event schedule, access to the different areas of the building is often restricted to because of this.

Appointments and meetings with Councillors and Council Staff should be prearranged. On your arrival at Town Hall, the Commissionaire at the George street entrance to the building will direct you to the relevant location.

For people wishing to view the venues or specific areas of the building, it is recommended that you join a scheduled tour of the building.
