Sydney City Farm team activities

Our activities are a great way for you and your teams to get outdoors, work together, learn some new skills and give back to local communities.

About the farm

Sydney City Farm is an urban agriculture project in Sydney Park, connecting the city with the country.

The farm is a 5000 square metre site which includes a community hub and cropping area, plant nursery and orchard.

Volunteers are involved in everything we do at the farm. They plant the seeds in the nursery, nurture all our crops, and collect the harvest. Produce grown at the farm is donated to local charities supporting people experiencing food insecurity.

Sydney City Farm teaches sustainable food production and organic growing techniques through workshops and community events. A native food and cultural display has been designed by Aboriginal educators to share traditional knowledge. There are also floriculture, agroforestry and agricultural crop displays.

Our group activities

We charge a fee for these custom activities to help cover the cost of experienced facilitators and materials.

We also offer school and university student farm programs and tours. For details, email [email protected].
