Rosebery Residents Action Group aims to preserve the identity and character of the suburb. The group meets when needed, and produces email newsletters and letterbox flyers to keep the local community informed.
City-wide
BIKESydney is a not-for-profit organisation advocating for better cycling opportunities. It organises regular social rides and gatherings, and has many volunteer opportunities.
The Green Square Growers network shares knowledge about growing food at home and in public places. The group supports community garden beds in Tote Park and Joynton Park.
The Green Square Strata Network holds regular meetings with building and strata managers, owners and tenants of strata apartment buildings. Members share best practice advice and innovative solutions to create sustainable vertical communities.

Trains run to and from Green Square station on the T2 Airport Line. The station is on the corner of Botany Road and O’Riordan Street, Alexandria.

The Village to Village bus is a free hop-on, hop-off service available every Thursday and Friday.
The orange shuttle connects residents from Green Square, Alexandria, Erskineville and Newtown. It stops at key sites including Green Square Library, Victoria Park Pool, Broadway Shopping Centre and Sydney Fish Market.
