Small parks and playgrounds
Renewal program
The small parks and playgrounds renewal program is designed to improve the quality of our public parks and places designated for play.
Our aim is to ensure residents have access to a quality play facility within 500 metres and that these playgrounds provide a diverse range of play opportunities for children and carers.
We are allocating funding each year to renewing these areas. There are more than 330 small parks and playgrounds throughout the local area. Each year a number of parks from different suburbs are selected for renewal.
