Planning proposal for amendment to Sydney Local Environmental Plan 2012 - Sydney Fish Market, 56-60 Pyrmont Bridge Road, Pyrmont

This planning proposal seeks to amend the land use controls for the Sydney Fish Market in Sydney Local Environmental Plan 2012.

The exhibition of the planning proposal is in accordance with section 57 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

This planning proposal introduces amendments to the planning controls in Sydney Local Environmental Plan 2012 for the Sydney Fish Market Site as follows:

  • Adding 'warehouse or distribution centre' to the permitted with consent list in the land use table for the B3 commercial core zone which applies to the land.
  • Amending the floor space ratio control from 1:1 to 2.5:1 to reflect the approved master plan for the Sydney Fish Market.

The Minister has issued an authorisation for Council to exercise delegation to make this plan under section 59 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.
