Sydney Park draft Plan of Management 2014

Exhibition period closed

The City of Sydney is creating a new plan of management for Sydney Park that will outline how it will be used, managed and improved into the future.

The draft plan of management accommodates current and proposed uses of Sydney Park including a city farm, urban ecology activities, stormwater harvesting and re-use, and a new childcare centre.

Information session and public hearing

An information session to view the draft plan, speak with City staff about it and to provide feedback was held on Wednesday 12 February 2014 at the Sydney Park Pavilion, St Peters.

The session was followed by a public hearing on the land categorisation amendments proposed in the plan, a requirement under the Local Government Act, which was chaired by an independent person.

All feedback will be considered by the City when finalising the plan.

Exhibition details

The exhibition period closed at 5pm on Friday 7 March 2014.

Submissions closed at the end of the exhibition period.
