4–6 Bligh Street, Sydney: proposed changes to planning controls


This consultation is open for contributions.

We invite your feedback on a proposal to change the planning controls for 4–6 Bligh Street, Sydney. 

The changes would increase the total maximum floor-space ratio to 22:1, enabling a new mixed use commercial and hotel development on the site. 

The exhibition includes a planning proposal, draft development control plan and a voluntary planning agreement. 

We will consider all submissions and report the results to Council and the Central Sydney Planning Committee. 

If Council approves this proposal after public exhibition, the Sydney Local Environmental Plan 2012 will be drafted and finalised by the Department of Planning and Environment.

Consultation closes at 5pm on Monday 20 August 2018.

You can also view the plans Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm at Town Hall House Customer Service Centre.

Feedback may be published in publicly available reports at the end of the consultation period. Your name or organisation’s name may appear in these reports with your feedback attributed. If you would like your feedback to be kept confidential, please let us know when making your submission.
