We’re proposing a trial of 2 hour ticket parking from 8am to 10pm in some Alexandria streets. Area 36 permit holders will be excepted.

The proposal is in response to increased demands for parking in the area and requests for more availability of parking spaces.

The proposal covers:

  • Henderson Road
  • Henderson Lane
  • Alexander Street
  • Rowley Street
  • Station Place
  • Explorer Street
  • Newton Street
  • Newton Lane
  • Brandling Street
  • Brandling Lane
  • Kingsclear Road
  • Lyne Street
  • Lyne Lane
  • Dadley Street

The proposed parking changes mean vehicles without an Area 36 parking permit will need to pay for parking for up to 2 hours from 8am to 10pm 7 days a week where signs are installed.

The proposal is for a 2-year trial. If the trial is successful, the ticket parking will remain.
