Proposal to amend heritage floor space

Proposal to amend heritage floor space

This consultation is open for contributions.

We invite your feedback on a proposed change to heritage floor space controls for Central Sydney. This affects the Sydney Local Environmental Plan 2012 and the alternative heritage floor space allocation scheme.

The proposal seeks to extend the alternative arrangements for allocating heritage floor space to development sites in Central Sydney for 2 years. It is a response to a temporary shortage of heritage floor space in the market and allows more time for supply to become available. This allows development to proceed in the meantime.

We will consider all submissions and report the results to Council and the Central Sydney Planning Committee.

If Council approves this planning proposal after public exhibition, it can amend the Sydney Local Environmental Plan 2012.
