Cultural and creative grants

Cultural and creative grants

Arts funding

We understand that when it comes to getting cultural initiatives and events off the ground, finding the necessary funding isn’t always easy. For this reason, the City offers different grants and sponsorship opportunities under a range of programs.

Here you will find information on the types of grants we currently have available and everything you’ll need to know to apply.

Before you apply

Applicants need to meet both general and specific program criteria to be eligible to apply, so please get in touch with us to make sure you consider the right program for your project or organisation. If you are seeking cash support of more than $20,000 under any of our programs, you will need to meet with City staff to discuss your application before it is submitted.

The grants team is very happy to provide advice and support to all applicants, but unfortunately, cannot proof read draft applications.

For general details, take a look at our grants and sponsorships policy.
