In your hood

King George V Recreation Centre delivers a range of social, creative and many other programs for the local community.

Health-related services and City of Sydney programs are on offer for people with disabilities, their carers and those who are over the age of 55.

KGV provides community services with our non-profit partners including Disability Services Australia, Street Soccer Sydney and the Wayside Chapel.

Our membership fees help provide these partner programs to community organisations.

KGV also offers activities for kids and young people..

Art and craft classes

Cost: $5 per class (includes art materials).

Times: Wednesday 6.30pm to 9pm.

'Painting for pleasure' is the beginners' craft class currently running at KGV. Please ensure you bring along your own canvas.

After-school and vacation care

These programs are run for primary school children aged 5 to 12 years. If you're considering enrolling your child for the first time, we recommend you get in touch with our children's program team for more information.
