Cook + Phillip Park

Located opposite Hyde Park, off Elizabeth Street, Cook + Phillip Park is known for its sleek, modern design. Unique water features meander their way throughout the space and feature small waterfalls and fountains. There’s plenty of green space and it’s very dog friendly, with the grass areas off-leash places at all times.

You’ll also find a fenced children’s playground and a bridge that connects the park to the nearby Domain.

The park is a popular spot for several events throughout the year, including the City2Surf assembly point.

Active types will favour the basketball court where they can play a game for free and the aquatic and fitness centre is the place to be for those who feel like pumping some iron or going for a swim. A café is also available within the park.

Museum is the closest train station to the park. Look for bus routes 310, 343 and 555 and ask the bus driver to tell you when you have arrived at the closest stops. Two car parks are available: one adjacent to the aquatic centre and the other nearby, under the Domain.
