Workplace cycling courses

Confident city riding

Businesses have invested millions in healthy workplaces because they know active staff take fewer sick days and are more productive. More people riding bikes for transport also helps keep our city moving.

We’re offering businesses in our area free e-bike cycling courses so employees can learn to ride confidently. This course is run as a team building exercise for those new to riding or returning to cycling after a long time.

We can provide up to 2 courses for your workplace, with 10 people on each course. Each course lasts for 3 hours. The course starts at NCIE, 166-180 George Street, Redfern, and finishes at your office.

Staff will discover the City’s network of cycleways, bike friendly streets and shared paths. They’ll also learn the differences between a standard bike and an electric bike, and the benefits of an electric motor.

How to get involved

We’re currently seeking expressions of interest from businesses who would like to be part of this program.

If you’d like to support your colleagues to ride to work, complete the form and we’ll be in touch.

We’ll aim to deliver the course between 15 May and 30 June.

We supply the e-bikes and helmets, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm.
