About this opportunity

We have 3 spaces available at Glebe Town Hall, a heritage building at 160 St Johns Road, Glebe. Through our accommodation grants program, these spaces can be leased for up to 5 years at reduced rates.

All spaces are on the ground floor and are suitable for offices or meeting spaces. They are intended for community-led organisations to provide services, activities or programs for the local community.

  • Tenancy 1 is a large, interconnected office of 92m²
  • Tenancy 2 is a small office measuring 15m²
  • Tenancy 3 is a small office measuring 14.5m²

We invite applications for site-specific proposals that offer developmental, recreational, social and cultural activities or services that support and improve the wellbeing of the local community.

As part of our commitment to Aboriginal self-determination, we strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal led and community-controlled organisations, as well as Aboriginal cultural leaders, artists, knowledge holders and creative practitioners. This includes projects focused on language revitalisation, cultural teaching, ceremony, healing and wellbeing.

Support available

Support is available in the form of reduced rent for City of Sydney facilities. Rent varies depending on:

  • the space being leased
  • applicant's financial capacity.

We may also require payment of a bond as part of the lease or licence agreement.
