Works are expected to start in early 2026 and take around 3 months to complete, weather permitting.
What we’re doing
Works include:
- planting 3 new trees, new shrub and groundcover plants
- replacing the pavement to improve accessibility
- more seating, including a seat in memory of former Councillor and active community member, Terry Murphy.
Why we’re doing this
We developed a concept design for the space based on your feedback from mid 2023. The design was modified and in early 2024 we asked for your review. Council approved this project at its May 2024 meeting.
This park was identified for upgrading as part of our ongoing park renewal program.
