Works started in February 2026 and are expected take around 3 months to complete, weather permitting.

What we’re doing

Works include:

  • building a new play area with climbing tower and nest swing for younger children
  • adding a nature play area with plants, steppers and sandstone boulders
  • improving the plaza area with paving, seating and a new water bubbler
  • creating green spaces
  • installing a new fence around the playground
  • enhancing lighting.

The mature tree will be retained and protected during works.

Why we’re doing this

We asked you to review our concept design for the park in early 2024. Council approved this project at its May 2024 meeting.

This park was identified for upgrading as part of our ongoing park renewal program.
