What we’re doing
We invite feedback on a request to permit hotel accommodation at 92–98 Brougham Street, Potts Point.
This site is part of an adjoining development site that includes 2 properties at 169 and 172 Victoria Street. One of these properties is the heritage listed Piccadilly Hotel, which is now vacant.
Including a hotel use on the 92–98 Brougham Street site will allow a future hotel proposal to cover the complete development site.
The exhibition includes a planning proposal to amend the Sydney Local Environmental Plan 2012.
Next steps
We will consider all submissions and report the results to Council and the Central Sydney Planning Committee.
If Council and the Central Sydney Planning Committee approve the proposal, it can amend the Sydney Local Environmental Plan 2012 on behalf of the Greater Sydney Commission.
