Your feedback on a planning proposal to extend the alternative heritage floor space allocation scheme

We plan to amend the Sydney Local Environmental Plan 2012 for this proposed extension.

We invite your feedback on proposed changes to heritage floor space controls for Central Sydney.

The heritage floor space scheme  encourages the conservation and maintenance of historic buildings in Central Sydney.

This proposal amends the Sydney Local Environmental Plan 2012  to extend the operation of the alternative heritage floor space allocation scheme for 3 years.

It responds to a temporary shortage of heritage floor space in the market and allows more time for supply to become available. This allows development to proceed in the meantime.
