Why we’re doing this
We propose to replace the cycling connection on Chalmers Street with a cycleway on Randle and Elizabeth streets.
What we’re doing
Our plans include:
- installing a 2-way cycleway along the west side of Randle and Elizabeth streets, between Devonshire and Foveaux streets.
- extending the kerb to create wider footpaths on the west side of Randle and Elizabeth streets
- removing about 5 parking and loading spaces on Randle Street
- removing 2 Elizabeth Street 10 minute parking zones
- raised crossings at both ends of Randle Lane.
