Your say on the proposed design for the Hansom Cab Place Playground in Redfern

What we’re doing

Last year, we asked our communities for their feedback about the future of Hanson Cab Place Playground in Redfern.

We’ve now developed a concept design for the playground’s upgrade.

Works include:

• upgrading the play area
• improving the lawn
• paving a new entry and improving existing paths
• installing seats and picnic table
• enhancing gardens.
• One tree will be removed due to poor health. All other trees will be protected during the works.

We're asking for your feedback on the design.

Why we’re doing this 

Over the next 10 years, we’ll upgrade more than 60 parks in our area, from small pocket parks to larger local parks.

We’re asking for feedback from local community groups and residents on the concept design. Tell us how you use the space, what works, what doesn’t and share any ideas you have for its future.
