Your say on the proposed design for Pottinger Park Playground
We invite your feedback on the future of the public space in Dawes Point.
Open for feedback
We invite your feedback on this proposal.
What we’re doing
We plan to upgrade Pottinger Park on Pottinger Street, Dawes Point.
Last year, we asked our communities how they want to use this space. This feedback has helped us develop our proposed design which includes:
- a new play tower with slides, tunnel and activity panel
- a double swing set
- new bench seating
- new rubber softfall.
All existing mature trees in the park will be protected during the work.
Why we’re doing this
Over the next 10 years, we’ll upgrade more than 60 parks in our area, from small pocket parks to larger local parks.
We’re asking for feedback from local community groups and residents on the concept design. Tell us how you use the space, what works, what doesn’t and share any ideas you have for its future.
How you can give feedback
Consultation closes at 5pm on Monday 29 June 2026.
