Kings Lane Reserve upgrade

Kings Lane Reserve upgrade

Between Bourke & Thomson streets, Darlinghurst

We've started work to upgrade Kings Lane Reserve between Bourke Street and Thomson Street in Darlinghurst.

The upgrade includes:

  • replacing sandstone clad retaining walls
  • widening the sandstone clad stairs
  • installing new paving
  • planting new shrubs in the garden beds.

The work started in late March and will take around 4 months to complete, weather permitting.

Works will take place from 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and 7.30am to 3.30pm on Saturday.

The lane will be closed during the works. The nearest street connecting Thomson Street and Bourke Street is Liverpool Street, Darlinghurst.

We’ll take steps to minimise impacts. However, there will be some machinery noise and dust.
