Located in the heart of The Rocks, the King George V Recreation Centre provides city residents, workers, students and visitors with state of the art sports and fitness facilities and community services.
Facilities
Indoor
- Two indoor multipurpose courts suitable for basketball, netball, volleyball, badminton
- fully equipped fitness centre
- multipurpose community room
- meeting room.
Outdoor
- Outdoor basketball half courts
- tennis court
- playground
Tuesday Tennis 
Tuesday is tennis day at KGV.
Casual Court Hire: 6:30 – 11.30am,
2.30 - 6pm
Tennis receives Priority Bookings* on KGV’s Outdoor tennis court during this time & day.
Cost: $23 per hour, ($16 residents of CofS LGA)
Tennis Coaching: 6 – 9pm and Mornings
Professional Tennis Coach Alison Scott provides coaching for individuals or groups at any level.

New 8 week cycle of tennis lessons for beginners – intermediate players will start on June 24 to August 12, 2008 at 7pm.
* Bookings should be made in advance. Booking requests for other sports will be taken on the day if vacancies exist. Court available for tennis bookings on all other days.
